Everyone who lives with tiled floors knows the frustrating task of keeping them clean – especially when children are involved.
And while some spend hours scrubbing, there are a number of handy and budget-friendly ways of getting the job done quickly.
One Melbourne mother was so impressed by her two-product cleaning method that she took to a Facebook group to share her amazing results.

‘I had no idea they were that filthy,’ she continued. ‘I love it. I used Bunnings Long Life Grout Cleaner and applied it with an empty sauce bottle.’
The $10 bottle of cleaning solution promises to ‘restore and revitalise grout between ceramic tiles, slate, terracotta, brick and masonry surfaces’.
Images from the clean clearly show a sparkling finish to the white tiles and were quickly complimented by others in the group.
‘Oh the sauce bottle is a great idea,’ one person said enthusiastically.
‘This is amazing,’ another added.
